The Government of Andhra Health Medical and Family Welfare Department has issued a notification for containment of COVID -19 in the State that has been termed as “The Andhra Pradesh Epidemic Disease COVID 19 Regulations 2020.”
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued an order regarding the constitution of Inter Departmental Coordination Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary to Government including the Secretaries of Line Departments for concerted measures to Containment and Surveillance of COVID-19.
The Government of Gujarat has issued a notification regarding COVID 19 laying out the actions to be followed to address the prevention of spreading of COVID 19. The regulations will be called Gujarat Epidemic Diseases COVID 19 Regulations 2020.
The Department of Higher, Technical Education and Skill Development has issued a notification to address the COVID 19. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, All Government and Non-Government Educational Institutes, Colleges, Universities, Coaching Centres, Vocational Training Institutes, Polytechnic Colleges, Architecture Colleges, Bed Colleges, Fashion Designing Institutes, Skill Development Centres will remain closed till 14 April 2020.
The Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand has issued a notification to prevent the spreading of COVID 2019. The notification mentions that if a person suspected/confirmed with COVID-19 refuses to go for quarantine or cooperate, appropriate proceeding would be taken up against him/her Section 133 of Code of Criminal Procedure.
The Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand has also issued a notification with protocols to be followed by people followed from COVID effected countries to Jharkhand.
The Government of Karnataka has issued a series of regulations called The Karnataka Epidemic Diseases, COVID 2019 Regulations 2020. The regulations lay’s down the protocol that should be followed by different institutions in the State.
The Commissionerate of Health & Family Welfare Services, Government of Karnataka has issued a Health Advisory for Education Department regarding the preparedness for the prevention for the control of COVID 19.
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Kerala has also issued an Advisory laying down the Airport arrangements and flow chart to be followed as a control measure against COVID 19
The labour Department, Government of Kerala has issued a notification to all private establishments to provide for the safety of its employees by providing flexibility in timings as well as leaves wherever required.
Government of Rajasthan has released an advisory to various institutions and organisations to control the spread of COVID 19 within the state. Besides the general protocols, the government in its advisory has asserted that people should avoid going to crowded places and also maintain sufficient distance while interacting with others.
The government of Sikkim has ordered the setting up of quarantine facilities near the Rangpo Checkpost and the amenities and resources available at these facilities would be taken over by the District Disaster Management Authority, East District.

Uttarakhand bans entry of domestic and foreign tourists. In the wake of coronavirus spread, the Uttarakhand government announced a ban on the entry of domestic and foreign tourists into the state till further notice. The state government also announced allocation of Rs 50 crore for the creation of more intensive care units and isolation wards to battle the outbreak.
